I have started to try veggie, tryed at 6 litres of veg to 20 litres of Derv.
No probs so far.
Well after reading this post start to finish.......
Should I use Veg oil (straight from Tesco) in my 200tdi Auto?
How much should I put in on a ratio to diesel?
At what point should I change the Filters?
Where is the sediment filter?
Can I really save a shed load of cash?
Will it damage anything?
Most importantly MOT due in September,
Is it legal?
How will it affect my emissions?
Anyone tried just mixing veggie oil with petrol until its about the same viscosity as deisel ? I wonder if if would work out cheaper than mixing with deisel ? Just a thought.
SOOOOO what real damage can using Veggie Oil in my landy do??-----Its a matter of opinion!
I read about changing filters etc cuz of it dragging crap out the engine, is this simple to do-------Simple as 123
And if my car has never used veggie ix before what would you recommend I live in the midlands so no excessive weather climates except or exceptional amounts of rain.----------Asda 12ltr for a 10spot!
Any recommendations would be appreciated as i really could do wisth savings some £s but couldnt we all.-------Yup
Ohh will my car smell like the locally chippy van also LoL ??-------Probably! but you are not following it, so who cares!
do a 75%-25% mix in favour of diesel your have no problem just change the fuel fiter a bit more regularly
