Thx for the heads up, I think it's an ongoing sweep across Euroland and will soon be in the UK, a lot of countries in Euroland and others like Croatia have seemed to have adopted it already. Safe travels.

Have fun, I did a bit of Spain and Portugal a couple of yrs ago, they're both beautiful places to visit. Must go back sometime and do more. Re; French breathaliser law, "it has been obligatory to carry one of these since but there is no penalty for not having one", so I've never bothered.

As above, google maps is excellent. I use Garmin's basecamp free software, excellent for mapping and up loading routes/tracks to a garmin device. Have fun, cheers Mark

Enjoy, a stunning part of the world. Great campsites at Ainsa, Spain, and Saint Jean Pied de Port, France. The Smugglers route out of Andorra/Spain is excellent, about 25/30mls on dirt/hard surface. safe travels, Mark
