yep, once the hose was on it stopped. I was safe from the Kyoto agreement again.

When the elbow went on mine it smoked like a dreadnought. It was fun till I got the hose imported to smut the tailgaters behind:D

At 3000 ish rpm the turbo sounds like its blowing bubbles in the bath like gas is bypassing, to be honest its like a wet fart sound and you can feel hesitation. Is this the start of an expensive turbo problem ??. No smoke or grinding thou. Cheers

Yep sounds like inter hose. Mine seems to eat the small elbow one. Guess the 90 degree bend does not help.

Slave cylinder and release Bearing on mine is causing same problem. Difficult to get into gear initially now when depressed clutch I can hear the bearing whistle, so next week new clutch and release bearing going in too save two strip downs, just hope it is the clutch end and not a gearbox...

Chaser many thanks all fixed rear off side stop lap was dim compared to others took out and stopped the short. Reseated bulb now all good thank you for the quick reply I had visions of nights with a multi meter.

Cooper Discovery HT 205 70 gives a bit of lift maybe an inch and less road noise.

Fuel pump in tank possible, had same prob on 01MY and when checking the low pressure pump under bonnet it was but a dribble and gassy. Changed in tank pump and fine. When mine started to go it would be after I had driven for a while then stopped say at a garage.

Wheels off then there will be two philips screws holding disk brake assembly to hub. OOPs first undo lower caliper bolt so you can slide it up and away from disk. Get old bit of wire to suspend calipers from suspension to save straining the brake pipes. Clean new disks in cleaner if you need to...

Steering wheel now lost all surround and gear stick bare, where's the best place to get a replacement. Living in ireland so a scrapper is no option as far as i know:):)
