why do none of my instruction manuals detail how to do this? can you give me the basic steps to remove the cab. then i fit the roof, sides and back together and lift it on. Secure with bolts. then fit the seats. any more tips? electrics, approximate costs?

I have a swb pick up 1984. I have bought a roof. once i have the sides and tail gate, how much work is it to convert to a non pick up model? And vice versa? Is it something that can be done easily in an hour or two or does it need a specialist garage to do? any tips

90 SWB petrol 1984 front passenger wheel is leaking oil around the rubber axle hub cap. and there is a high pitch whirr from the wheel on driving. Is the fix to remove the wheel and to look to change out the oil seal rings on the axle?

can i start with a silly question; The RTC3184 oil filter element goes where? I have replaced my oil filter on my 2.25 petrol 90 and it came in a sealed unit. What am i missing here? also look in the attached file. what are these two similar parts? thanks

the vibration happens at high revs, meaning it is more of a problem in 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Yet a problem in all 5 gears.

it is all the forward 5 gears vibrate. it is annoying and i think for the smallish out lay to get the layshaft bearings replaced this 1984 SWB will drive like a much newer (quieter car) yes the tyres could do with an update too!

The oil filter was a UNIPART GFE 487. what is the moderm day equivalent brand/model number? Thanks.
