I have a 1984 2.25 petrol SWB 90 pick up. I have a fuel gauge and temperature gauge in place. I had an idea to add in an oil pressure gauge into the spare dial.. Before I do I have some questions about the wiring;
in the wiring bundle there are four unused cables; a black and brown pair and a green and red/white pair. What can these be used for?
what are the five unused bulbs on the instrument panel for?
There is a ten wire connector and this is connected to a six plug connector. Is there any option/use to get a ten point connector?
Where does the pressure gauge sender attach in the engine bay?
The fuel gauge shows an erratic signal. with lots of variation and it never shows more than half full even when i fill up.
The speedo shows a lot of flicker too; I plan to change the cable out.
