Dashboard blank, what should be there?

Is it as simple as getting a cc switch and plugging in or do I need clutch and brake switches etc etc ?

    Tinted Windows

Re-tinted one of my rears when i bought mine as the corner was peeling badly. Only use the 14.99 stuff from a motorfactors and it took some patience. But was pretty happy with the result. I was quoted 290 to strip and re do all the rears professionally.

    Sealing sunroof shut?

We had water dripping out of our interior light yesterday, my sunroof tilts but doesn't slide so i'd pulled the fuse as well. I tried lifting it a smidge yesterday to see if it sealed better,I will try the vaseline trick as well. Got to replace my light as it's water damaged now

    Introducing My TD4

Cheers I hope so, hopefully that little lot will keep it on the road for a bit. We did briefly flirt with the idea of flogging it. But sadly this is the wife's dream motor so thought we'd better give it the benefit of the doubt and keep it longer than a few months.

    HID lights on a FL1?

If you've got H7 bulbs then look for aftermarket HID kits marked H7r, they have a partial sleeve on the bulb that gives the correct pattern and doesn't dazzle on coming traffic. I've used both on a previous vehicle and 6000k h7's got me flashed at all the time, with 6000k H7r's I never had one...

    Introducing My TD4

We had a 2002 V6 auto a few years ago and loved it but just couldn't live with the mpg's (lack of them). Always wanted a nice TD4 but they always had lunar miles on if they were within budget. Found this one parked on a drive just down the road with a forsale sign in the screen and snapped it...

    Destroyed IRD (pics)

Not sure, might have been caused by mismatched tyres. What ever caused it , it happened quickly it felt tight when the wife reversed off the drive and blew less than 2 miles later Sorry already scrapped it, it was stinking the boot out with a horrible oily smell. There seemed to be lots of...

    Destroyed IRD (pics)

It wasn't overly cheap, parts came in at 630 , (vcu, ird, bearings and diff mounts), labour was 220 I had put part worns on the front as the rears wear quite good. I've just had a new falken fitted to the rear to match the new falken that was on the back door and now also on the rear. the 2...

    Destroyed IRD (pics)

Thought people might be interested to see these, not just the hole but the casing is all cracked around the bolt holes as well. The wife did say it made quite a bang when it went.

Help our TD4's just siezed up and won't move
