    Disco noises when decelerating.

Had this on worn dry prop shaft splines. Easy to diagnose as there was side to side/up down movement.

    Turbo not working lacking acceleration

Are you sure its not misfiring? The only fault i know that always resets when you turn the engine off is the notorious oil in red plug thing. Easy to check, its the red plug that goes into ECU next to battery.

so the starter motor just clicks????

Remove the earth strap from the battery to the chassis (or body i think its chassis) and clean up the surfaces, refit. Remove the strap that goes from the starter to the chassis (probably only chassis end is required) and clean surfaces and refit.

so the starter motor just clicks????

    Good luck with it.

so the starter motor just clicks????

When you turn the key and hold it in start position how many times does it click?

so the starter motor just clicks????

Thing is..... If you turn the key and it only clicks once, it is the starter solenoid sticking. If it clicks over and over again then it's just not getting enough power.......

Td5 - metal debris in the sump

It wouldn't get in as the plug fills the hole in the sump. This is something out of the engine i think, but i have no idea what!

    Hy lift jack

But they are not as effective off road, plus they don't look half as cool when you bolt them to the back of your landy.

    Always blinking something...

If it's the handle sticking so you can't pull it then as said wd40. Take off the LR badge with a screw driver and spray it through there whilst working the handle. If its the lock spring then thats a different matter..

    Whitby expertise

It probably isn't the injection pump. Take it for a spin without the caravan, do you get a lot of black smoke? If so it is likely just an intercooler pipe or something.

    UV damage to bodywork trim

The spray (silicone spray) makes them lovely and bright and black again, but lasts a couple of weeks.

Lifted body now Steering has. Gone all Jugglery

If i knew what jugglery meant i might have more of an idea, but the only thing i can think of is the steering shaft UJ's. By lifting the body you have increased their angle, so any wear in them will be more noticeable. Does the steering have tight spots in it when you turn from one lock to...

    vibration at 60mph through car

This is nearly always UJ's. To check properly you need to ensure there is total slack in the drive train. Take out of gear and take handbrake off. Also select neutral on the transfer box. You will have to chock the wheels if its not perfectly level! Underneath make sure each prop can be...

    Viscous Fan help please

On your way to billing when it overheated. I am guessing you were on the road (with the fan). The allisport rad is good i guess, but do you take the car offroad? It might just need a really good clean. Or as i said the water pump. Have you by any chance been playing with the pump etc? This...

    Viscous Fan help please

I ran a 300TDI discovery without a fan at all for months. I even towed a trailer with another disco on it for an hour and a half in summer with no problems at all. A 300 with a good radiator etc should be ok without a fan, i was skeptical but i have tested it myself so i know. It sounds to me...
