That's loads of room then. Those guards look almost exactly the same as mine. That hinge looks to be mounted a lot further out than the Bearmach / Mantec ones? They are almost right next to the door so i'm thinking that would reduce the arc radius the wheel swings out on.

The finished product. Belt runs well clear of the bypass hose and the water pump so should be good by the look of it

I will put some more pictures up later once I have the belt fitted. Took me hours to get just the right height and positioning but I think it's just right now. Well worth doing for anyone running a 200tdi conversion

Yeah I did see that kit thanks. Only problem is that I don't have a double v crankshaft pulley or an air con idler and tensioner. By the time I add them to the price of the kit it is going to be £200+
