TD5 1999 Put key in ignition this morning and will not turn-Almost like wrong key.Tried turning steering wheel to make sure steering lock was set.Tried rocking key to see if it will turn,but no. Ideas? Loads of WD 40 maybe?

Just had my fuel guage drop to empty and light come on with 3/4 full tank??Is there any fuse in line or is it time to get the pump/sender out of the tank?Cheers for any help

Been driving the TD5 all over locally today and called in on a mate tonight,when I came out,started the TD5,it fired and then immediately died and no amount of cranking would get her to fire(she normally starts first turn of key).I checked the electric pump was running,and could hear it whining...

Just recently got a Nanocom (Thanks Garrett) on a LZ multibuy ,and finally got it plugged in y'day. Reading the live data I am getting zero on air flow and also zero on turbo pressure.(engine is running ok and turbo is spooling) Presumably this means both the MAF and MAP are dud or need cleaning...

Looking at the air intake under N/S wing,it is a slot in an arrow shaped piece of rubber-presumably to shut if drowned. For normal road use isn't this restrictive to air flow-cannot see how the turbo can see enough air if working hard-any views?

Talking to some other D2 TD5 owners,seems autobox failure around 100k miles is common. Anyone got a take on this? Do you have an autobox that has exceeded 100k miles without issue?

Just had my EGR valve off and cleaned thoroughly(nice).I do not have a blanking kit at mo,but if I put back and leave vacuum pipe disconnected and plugged,it cannot open again.Any reason for not doing this ? cheers guys
