Driving td5 y'day and dash light second from left on bottom of display came on"yellow landy with arrows at back up and down".What does this mean please?.Cleared on switgh off and on again.
Have done a search, also got haynes but cannot find dash layout any where-if anyone has a dash layout it would really help-thanks

it's the SLS(self levelling(air) suspension) warning... it's possible that there is a leak somehwere and the compressor exceeded it's duty cycle...reading the fault code would help.... or if you dont have SLS the BCU needs to be set for coils

Thanks ever so much for the dash layout:clap2:
It is currently on springs (as when I bought it),but you can hear the compressor running every so often-maybe this needs disable ling.We were running over very bumpy ground at the time

remove relay R5 from engine bay fusebox...at least you'll protect the compressor... you can sell it for good money unless you want to go back on air suspension...untill you decide make somehow to get it plugged in a tester and set it for coils

Been thinking of moving on to a disco 2 from my disco 1 as I want something a little smoother and friendly on the road. But I've never had many problems with my disco 1 no matter how much I've thrashed her of road but all I seem to see is problems, problems, problems with the D2's.... Can anybody shed any light as to wether it's worth going for it, pros and cons etc.... Cheers.

Will pull relay, thanks for all the help

Nithing to do with your question, but.........Are you running your disco 2 on bio?[/quote

Absolutely-no problem so far,2500 miles to date.
I do make sure it passes all quality tests, and filter down to 1uM.Just trying to use up all the solid fat feedstock before colder temps arrive, then it will be liquid oil only as feed stock for the winter+might add some diesel if needed.
Performance of the TD5 is awesome, really chuffed with it and fuel is virtually free.
Did a camping trip to Dorset some weeks ago pulling trailer and 5 people-cost me a fiver each way in fuel

Took out relay R5,so now the warning light is illuminated permanently, presumably this is correct?

Hi there, how do you set the BCU for coils? I had the same problem yesterday

if it's on coils the warning lamp can be disabled in BCU settings with nanocom and the system disabled in the SLABS ECU... with hawkeye it's doable only by setting to coils in SLABS

Yes it is on coils, is it something that has to be done or can it just be left?
