Does the paperclip method not reset it all? I thought it would not need a reset as it did not show up any faults doing the blink test. Thanks for the help so far. If you can think of anything else please let me know or if you know which ecus would work. Cheers

Hi yes everything works as it should just the lights don't go out and no fault codes are stored. That's what makes me think it could be the ecu.

Hi I have one from a 1994 RRC but it did not have cruise or radio controls. I changed mine to a D2 one as I thought I had buggered mine when taking the steering wheel off. But it was ok had the same fault when fitted new one.

No they are not the same. But I no longer have my D2 but still got the switches and trim panel in the garage. :cool::rolleyes: Make me an offer for them if your interested in them.

The actual plastic body looks similar but the one I have has got the SRS wires and the horn connections also is wires. So it looks like the early ones are different . Don't know if it would be possible to modify a later one to fit?

Not true I have a disco 2 one fitted to my 93 classic. I also have a spare RRC one in the garage, you can have it for £25 plus postage. Where are you about? And you will have to put it on diagnostics to clear the SRS lights, I had to anyway. Cheers

Hi Hope this helps. I have a 1994 RRC with a MA chassis number. And I have fitted a viscous fan from a D2. I swapped the fan blade over so it still uses the original RRC fan. Cheers Graeme
