You should have no problems at all. When I needed mine, I rang an LR dealer (a dealer I had never been to before), gave them the chassis number and they gave me the EKA code over the phone. I was pleased and worried at the same time and No, I'm not going to name the dealer as it might cause...

Not sure a locksmith will help, your local LR Dealer should be able to give you your EKA code.
