    disco 200tdi engined power loss

    Climbed a big hill yesterday with the new chassis etc in the trailer. Pulled OK, turbo has always been whistly. Stopped at the top for a pee, left it ticking over, and all the way home it made no boost. No smoke of any kind. Ideas anyone?

    Took the floor out today to change the fuel tank, and I found... well, fresh air. Is this needing immediate attention or can I put the floor back down and pretend its all fine. There will be a chassis swap coming up later this year or early next.

    Saab 9-5 seats in a defender?

    Has anyone fitted seats off a Saab into a 90? I used to have a saab, and the seats were seriously good. My landys seats are seriously adequate, and I'm thinking about doing a swap. £20 a pair for the 'new' seats from a scrapyard, so there's not too much to lose.

    All of them, From the tank, all round the engine bay, to the injector pump. Looked on the 'addocks, but can't seem to locate the required. Don't fancy going into LR main agent with my special bunning trousers on. Any ideas? Anyone breaking one? Cheers.

    With gearbox attached, separating on the floor / bench, or splitting them in situ, and taking the engine out by itself? I do intend to remove the g/ box and trans. box from mine, as it's as rotten as british politics.
