The diff lock / hi and low range linkages were real stiff, so they got doused in WD40.
They then weren't real stiff, but the difflock wouldn't engage. So I dismantled the transmission tunnel, and found that the difflock linkage was worn so a full movement at the lever didn't translate into a full movement at the transfer box.
I have put a bit of string round the rod and drilled a small hole in the trans. tunnel, and if I want to use the lock, I move the lever, then haul on the string.
I'll put a new linkage on it one day.
Bet I don't.
