Saab 9-5 seats in a defender?

Has anyone fitted seats off a Saab into a 90? I used to have a saab, and the seats were seriously good. My landys seats are seriously adequate, and I'm thinking about doing a swap. £20 a pair for the 'new' seats from a scrapyard, so there's not too much to lose.

Plenty of folk have fitted Saab seats, having made minor modifications to the fixing of their runners. I was after a pair myself for my 110, but a pair of Range Rover P38 seats presented themselves at a decent price instead.

Think you may just need to weld a strip of metal to each runner and then bolt the strip of metal to the seat box. They may sit a little higher than the Defender seats.
