Occasionally, not always, Diesel leaks from the 110 td5. Anybody else experience this?

My 2002 TD5 Defender is using half a pint of coolant per 100 miles. It seems to be escaping out the reservoir cap regardless of how hard I tighten it. Anyone got suggestions!

The rear crossmember on my 2002 Defender 110 TD5is rusted. Can I replace it wthout getting a new chassis?

A friend who wants me to move a number of loads of clay a distance of 40 miles has told me my Defender td5 has the capacity to pull 3.5 tons at a time. As I have just got a new clutch fitted, I was wondering if it would be foolish to oblige him. Any ideas?

I jerked the hand brake too tightly and it snapped:mad: . I removed the cover on the handbrake to discover the cable was still attached, so the fault must be further down. Any ideas on how to fix it:confused:
