Hi All, I have been told that the temp gauge on the D 2 is unreliable, ie by the time it reaches the red it's already too late. This happened to me but fortunately I must have been lucky(so far). Has anyone fitted an after market stand alone temp gauge, and does it work ok.

Thanks for the tip Bud, but it's an ignition module on the D2 unlike the D1 which has standard "octopus" dizzy top.

Hi there, I've always tried to steer away from water in my D2 simply because it's a V8 petrol. Doe's anyone have any experience or tips on water crossing with a V8?

Hi,I've looked through the posts for an answer too this but no luck. I'm going to fit a s/h Ashcroft cdl unit to my D2 , does this mean I have to somehow disconnect the traction control or does it not affect it and will run in tandem?

Hi, Just fitted a winch and steering guard to my D2 the ride is now soft on the front. I am keeping it at standard height, now if I fit good quality shocks will this toughen up the ride, or do I need H/D springs also. I would be grateful for any input.

Hi, Running Disco 2 on 235/85/16 tyres with steel bumper & winch fitted is a suspension lift absolutely necessary for green laning (not rock climbing or swimming deep water).?
