Always worth a price check at halfords if you know anyone with the trade card.

The significant thing is to get one that's not been sitting on a shelf feeling unloved for months. I understand many (not all) batteries come from the same factory

I put a Lion battery on my old 3.9 RRC. It was decent for a budget battery. I fitted a Duracel one in my Ford because it was a cool colour. 4 yrs in its been fine, even with lots of short journeys.

The battery brand name doesn’t mean much to me, if battery meets the vehicle manufacturers spec or above, has a 4 year warranty and importantly it fits it will do.
The cars I’ve owned or own never have the same battery brand name as the old one, their replacement have all work just as well... that’s start the car in any weather :)
