    The problem I have is the lack of power, with it being an Auto, I am having to put more throttle in causing the gearbox to constantly kickdown, even down to 1st as 15-20mph and cant get above 60mph on the motorway unless foot to the floor. I will do that and keep digging, thanks.

    I dont get any smoke which is why i think I am under fueling. Prior to the cambelt snapping it was usually over fuel smoke (grey/black) under heavy acceleration but not clouds.

    If the cam is out would this affect the lift pump as well becasue I think its under fuelling too and the IP advanced as far as I can without check engine light

    Yes, its definately a valving issue which is why i wondered if the cam might be a tooth out or something

    I have adjusted and re-adjusted the valves I dont know how many times and watched them carefully whilst its running and they all seem good.

    Not that I can see, its sticking up at least 5mm more than the rest which I dont know if its normal as this is the one with the wire in.
