Been doing bits and bobs to the XS. Yesterday removed the rear step, which was stuck down, and noticed the 'fridge' wire had been cut and hidden away, so decided to look at the front spot lights, all the wires have been cut there too, the heater fan and rear wiper doesn't work either so...

Could be worn pads eating the discs. Run your finger nail from the inside to outside and see if it catchs on the lip of the disc.
