Hi all I am having problems with my Disco 1 lock. I have it out but the person who tried to steal my car broke off something in the lock barrel. I have removed the circlip and find that as you say the barrel still does not want to come out. Any suggestions appreciated. Cheers Steve

Hi all having the same problem re starting after changing injector seals. Have done all the checks, purges etc. I have noticed that when cranking the fuel gauge is very erratic and I am told there is smoke from the exhaust. I am charging up the battery for a couple of days before trying again...

Hi have just completed fitting egr replacement kit and hoses. Tapped the small plastic coolant hose that carries coolant to/from egr gass cooler and it snapped . I went with same as mad hat man just went to an industrial air line fitting place, take original breather with you I got fittings for the series,110 and correct air line hose to do both for $25 approx.

Hi contacted the manufacturer re fitment for Defenders not available at present, pity as it seemed what I have been looking for.

I use castrol edge sport 5w40 recommended by lr mechanic also as suggested above change centrifugal also. Use original lr part as some not to same tolerance should hear it spin down when engine shut off.

I agree with comments above you can make a simple tool that sits under the flats on the sides of the injector from a couple of bits of 3mm flat steel welded at right angles, you just need to be able to get a good grip to overcome the resistance of the o ring. If I can arrancge it I'll get a pic...
