    Need a type of paint....

The rest of your paintwork looks brilliant! Which mine was that good. Replace them and have them painted to match the rest, it will look like its suppose to. Fantastic!:decision:

Wheely good? What new wheels for 90?

Wheels look fine, maybe a lick of paint would smarten them up. I have steel Disco`s on mine, painted satin black, looks reasonable.

Here in the land of OZ, we have a suspension manufacturer named "Pedders". They make all types of suspension components for all types of vehicles. I went with standard springs all round. Gas shockers on the rear, with air assisted bags on the back also. Nice soft ride, but firm and the...

    spare wheel carrier

I think the type of swing away that is fixed to the rear door is best. Just one action to open the door. Otherwise you have to swing away the spare, then open the door. Solves the problem of passengers in the back being able to get out in an emergency!!!:scratching_chin:

    Wiper Motor Park Switch.

Gave the switch constant 12 volts, no different, still stops anywhere??? Wipers have 2 speeds and an intermittent function, which is no longer intermittent. That`s what made me think it is a relay problem. Anyway if someone has any better ideas I`ll have to live with it.

    Alternator problem?

300 Tdi. Alternator light glows slightly and dims as revs increase. Also light stays on after starting. Give a rev and she goes out. Question: Is the regulator stuffed or do I need to have the unit recoed? Any suggestions. Thanks. :behindsofa:

    300 Tdi Power Steering Problem.

Was low on atf, so refilled. Started car and turned wheels l&r, still noisy. Checked under car and cleaned, small amount of atf coming from above where hose connects. Holding tank seems to be holding ATF, but gets airated and rises up and slightly overflows. Does this help?

Gidday from down under! Got a problem with my power steering pump. 300 Tdi engined 110. Noisy when turning steering wheel. Checked under vehicle and ATF coming from, I presume lower pressure return hose, to holding tank. Slow drip from somewhere. Is it terminal. Checked Busters Guide, but...

    Cooper - ATR vs ST?

ST Discoverer are the way. I`ve had a set on my Defender for 3.5 years. Rotated them every 10,000 kms and are still in good nic. I haven`t even had to rebalance them on rotation. Probably going to get about 75,000-80,000 kms out of them, and they are brilliants on the tarmac!:cheer2:

    Indicater problem

Same problem here, but with left flasher. After many attempts, replaced hazard switch, still blew fuse. Eventually traced wiring form column to left flasher and found a dead short. Rewired from said column to left flashers..problem solved.:clap2:
