Looking to change my current tyres - Grabber TR - to something a bit more forgiving on the tarmac. My 110 spends most of its life on the road rather than off (90%), so need something quieter and less harsh! Have been steered towards Coopers, but can't decide between ATR and ST. Anyone use ATRs? Assume these are more road-oriented but not totally useless if/when I need to venture off-road (albeit nothing too extreme!)

Thanks in advance.

go with the ATR good tires get about 55000 miles on proper rotation i've got 27570r18's on my rig:D:D

Been told coopers hard to get hold of.

Sounds like ATR's are the way forward, but agree they are hard to find - spoke to Cooper supplier who told me he can't get them.

Other option could be Toyo Open Country A/T or H/T but have not found many comments on these...

ST Discoverer are the way. I`ve had a set on my Defender for 3.5 years. Rotated them every 10,000 kms and are still in good nic. I haven`t even had to rebalance them on rotation. Probably going to get about 75,000-80,000 kms out of them, and they are brilliants on the tarmac!:cheer2:
