they did but LR were still making ROW 300tdis until december 2007 lol
Besides the TD5 has WAAAAYYYY less ECUs

86 less i think hahaha

Tbf that statement is overplayed. Afaik theres still only one that runs the engine etc... the rest are for fancy seats/windows/dash etc...

Push comes to shove doesnt matter if the leccy windows, adjustable seats or climate controls a bit skittish.

Plus im sure Nanocom or similar will have a unit out soon enough to tackle them pesky bugs!

Id happily take one to Spain trans Pyrenees and trust it more than my 110. That said if my 110 does break en route most the time I can fix it with what I have bar some minor bits I doubt I could fix the new one. Then again new one shouldnt break :p

I like it, but ref the leccy bits, there is the odd L322 owner that has had an issue if the steering wheel trying to crush their legs...could be a PIT ... thighs....LOL.

I hope they have worked around these issues, as always it is water ingress that causes the issues over time.

Looking at the manifold , those pesky frenchies could have polished the inside for you. Whats the benefit over a std dewebbed manifold?

Cheers

Yeah it happens. Guy local to me was locked inside his Velar for 3 hours :p

Wont warp again (my dewebbed has), equal length, larger and matched to the head. Idea being lower EGTs, better flow and faster spool.

Ill give it a minor tidy up but overall please with the qual. Will compliment the new VNT very well

Busy day!

Two new Timken wheel bearings. Front one was trashed! Needed new pads as well

Fitted some HD Drive Flanges as well. Where a steal at £50 for four off Bearmach!

All the bits for my 3" down pipe are here. Matches up well

Got to cut the downpipe to mid box flange off the old cat pipe. Couldnt find a new one! Obvs just a mock up!

Rewelded the broken weld on my door. Now shuts flush again :) not very pretty so no pics.

Also found out today that i had never taken the protective plastic off my welding mask :oops::oops::p

Been welding in the dark for the past year. Now I can see my welds will surely improve :D
