Sounds feasible, but not particularly logical. Could buy a new motor, only to find it still won't work. If you supply known working wires to the suspect motor, if it works, that points to possible wiring or switch issue. Then you can check them out with known working bits. Hopefully it's a simple, cheap-er than a replacement motor Dopey. You can trust me...been in sales all my life ¦~]

If you don't want to solder (I wouldn't), once you've identified the correct working wires, cut them one at a time, then extend them to the other mirror's motor wiring and try switching with the "donor" mirror switch. When you've gone through that process and found the problem, reconnect the wiring using insulated terminals. Order your new "broken bit" if necessary, then give yourself a pat on the back and treat yourself to your favourite tipple, or dolly mixtures...or whatever floats your boat, mate!

You have not seen it up close. The paint is crap where it had stuff stacked on the bonnet and roof. Most of the interior and exterior plastics were knackered, it had no suspension and all the steering bushes were shot as was the exhaust. The drivers seat is also knackered.
