....Go on own up, I know your lives have been hard to bear without me on the forum for the last few weeks....

Sorry for lack of input, had a hectic and heavy few weeks, the loss of my Mum in late August, a few training courses and a brief holiday has meant I have not been around much....

What did I miss??

Apologises to all who may have missed me, and a typical two fingers to those who didn't even notice lol :D:D:D:D

Welcome home Ant. Courses are a bitch. The worse ones being those where some nob spends an inordinate amount of time telling you things you already know or on management courses recommends actions that were tried ten years ago and didn't work. Wondered where you had gone put it down to annual swingers convention. :D:D

Very glad you are back as you know and again sorry to hear about your mum.

Welcome back Saint, sorry to hear of your mum.

Think i've gone through 2 head gaskets since you've been gone.....not that this means much.

Many thanks to you all for your kindness - now stop being nice and get back to SNAFU.... :D:D

@holidaychicken : Andy, don't forget to write the How To.....I take it you couldn't wait for me to do mine for the How To?? Take photos and take yer time, all will be well and you'll be fine.
I'll try my best on the how but their are some fantastic full videos of the complete process so i may just post a link!!
I don't know how you manage to do the jobs you do and take all the photos, i will take loads of pics and try and put together a simplified how to as it's mind bending trying to sort through all the different threads on different forums but having watched a few youtubes it is hopefully making a lot more sense now but the one tooth out on the chain and it's ENDEX worries me a bit !!

Thanks I have the timing kit but will have a look on ebay as i bought mine second hand and it has been modified from the earlier M62 pre 2002 type but appears ok, it's only the part that times the vanos anyway.......
