Hi all,

The horn on my 1999 P38 4.6 has stopped working.

I have checked the fuse and removed the connector from the horn, but get no reading from my volt meter when the horn is pressed on the steering wheel.

Is there somewhere else that I need to check, or should I remove the steering wheel to check connections there, and what do I need to do to remove the steering wheel (airbag disconnection etc?).

Cheers,

Mark

afternoon

asuming it is the horn that's stopped working and you haven't just suddenly gone deaf then your rotary coupler has probably gone.

They can be repaired as mentioend on earlier post but they easy to replace from on line auction site and changing it only requires removal of the steering wheel

ive got the exact same problem with mine at the moment, checked everything twice so i think im going for the steering coupler, i think it might have got wet and is causing a battery drain aswell! when removing the fuse and placing it back its making a clicking sound from the relay so im guessing the couplers to fault(i hope!!!).
