Hi, there, I have just deleted EDC and Airbags from my 96 D1. To get the horn to work with new/old steering wheel I need the contact spring tab that touches the contact ring on steering wheel, see pic. I can't find this anywhere nor the part number. Can anyone help with part number or have one that they could sell me?
Cheers

Thanks sierrafery, nice try, that's actually for the horn button that goes in centre of wheel.

I need the copper strip spring contact that just to the left of centre.

Yes only two types horn pushes are listed in the parts catalogue, the brass or copper item u require isn't unfortunately.

You could use a micro switch with a long arm and a bit of wire instead.

Will be following this tread as my "horn' hasn't worked on years - I am under the impression that a new clock spring is required on mine but they cost 400 billion ronts

Case solved, bought a small sheet of 0.8mm brass, cut and folded a new one. Worked straight out of the can. Took about an hour.

@D1Nut, I don't have a clock spring anymore, getting rid of that was part of my Airbag delete, getting rid of all the crap that goes wrong.
