I have a 200 TDi but the dim / dip doesn't work. All other lights ok but when i either pull or push the stalk for full beam the lights all go out. I've read ni the Haynes manual about a control unit thats behind the steering column but i cant find it, where exactly is it located?

Changed my bias plate today, a bit fiddly but not to hard

Is this what operates the solenoid (well it looks like a solenoid on the passenger side of the motor) Where is this solenoid fed from as i have no voltage at the green wire?
