I have a 200 TDi but the dim / dip doesn't work. All other lights ok but when i either pull or push the stalk for full beam the lights all go out. I've read ni the Haynes manual about a control unit thats behind the steering column but i cant find it, where exactly is it located?
Where is the dim/dip unit?

Don't think there is a relay on 200's, power goes through the switch and they do play up , I rewired mine with relays and better plugs .

That where it is on a 200 a black box on a bracket. Sorry but I don't know the exact position. On a 300 there's a relay and a resistor.
Does the dim-dip work ? It could be the light switch is faulty
