Just wait until you have to either put a wheel into the wheel well in the boot ,or take one out of it . an 18 inch wheel with a 60 profile can be a tight fit .

Seems about right so for a Rangie , when I do the same journey in my a4 I get an avg speed of 40 - 45 mph for exactly the same journey , i know the dse is slow but its not that slow.

Sport button has no difference on gearchanges , it does light up when pressed, No i havent paired the ecus to the car , I have only done this on trial and error to see if it would make any difference. My feeling is that the guy who changed the transfer box done some thing as the car was perfect...

Thanks for reply the original ecus behave exactly the same way , the gearbox does go into low range ok , and when in low range the gear changes do take place in a normal fashion according to the revs , If the transfer ecu is faulty does that effect the gearchanges ?
