Just saw a rangie for sale on a website here DONE DEAL , its a 1993 lse body thats been fitted to a 1975 standard Rangie chassis .
Just wondering how difficult a job it is to carry out, there are huge road tax savings .

bodies can be unbolted and lifted off in a couple of hours if everything goes right and nuts/bolts undo (not very likely)lse chassis have extra welded into chassis under rear passsenger footwell

how the #### you gonna fit an lse on a standard chassis??

8 inches longer!!doooh

and no tax savings..and modded vehicle insurance..ie you chopped and shunted the chassis...

I didnt mention that this add is in the Rep of Ireland.
Road tax on any pre 1983 car is taxed at vintage and its a rolling 30 year rule.
pre 1980 cars are exempt from mot or nct as it is here.
Road tax on 93 lse would be more than 1500 euros based on cc , road tax on swap job 62 euros ,
Big incentive.
This car is actually for sale by a dealer , I cant understand how one would fit an LSE body on a 75 chassis either.
