Check its not the ignition barrel sticking .

Hi I had similar fault with my 1987 90v8, the indicators packed Up after a heavy downpour,found the fault was the indicator Relay was full of water, it was situated behind the fuse box Inside the cab on the gearboxtunnel/bulkhead. I opened up the relay dried it out,remitted it and it worked...

Ref bleeding the brakes, have you tried to tighten the caliper nipple a touch?, sometimes this will break the hold on the thread and allow it to undo.Also sometimes a gentle tap with a hammer on the top of the bleed nipple can have the same affect.

Thanks for the info lads, I will go have a look at the real steel website,and ebay and see what i can get. Also i guess its advisable to change the followers at the same time and also the chain and sprocket?

hi ya i fitted a webber (set up with the more economical jets)on my 1987 V8 90 a few years ago and i`am getting around 18-20 mpg. Although the fuel economy (ha!) is only just better than the orginal pierberg carbs,the main plus factor is how easy the webber is to set up ,the twin carb set up...
