New Continental ATR vs Michelin Latitude Cross

I'm looking for people's thoughts on these tyres as the Conti is quite new and I've not been able to find any reviews or the like. I do about 20,000 miles a year so I need something relatively well-mannered on the road but won't leave me floundering once I venture off it. I don't need it to deal...

    Insurance Co thieves

Hate to rub salt into the wound but I'm £1360 fully comp. for 10000 miles a year with adrian flux on my '93 RRC 3.9 V8 Vogue SE I'm 19 and have only had my license for 18 months. But then again I do live in a 'nice' part of the Scottish Highlands.

    Help! Immobilised 93 RRC

I'm going through the exact same problems, but I get an alarm, could be that the sounder is just broken. If you do have an alarm the box is located just behind the washer tank and about 7 inches long. Because my fob to unset it doesn't work, i've had to book it into my local indy to unset it...

Sorry to revive an old thread, but recently I've not had much free time to play with my Rangie,my problems still persist, the fob, I think has had it. All solder connections look good and I've even tried 2 other batteries and still nothing, problem is seen as the alarm is armed as soon as I give...

    Government Petition on Car Insurance

It's not just the premiums they need to control, they need to give Police more power in convicting people of 'hit and claim' There was one on the bbc website a few months back on how a (pakistani) man and his brother made over 40 whiplash and loss of earning claims, I don't believe people who...

Off road tyres and your experiences

There was a feature in July's LRO about a p38 with 16" dumper truck tyres, it looked unstoppable!! Around here Baja tyre's seem to be rather popular ;)

    Insurance, on a second car????

I got a quote aged 20 1 year ncb for a 3.9 RRC and a Sierra XR4i for £1800 from admiral. I called adrian flux and they can beat the RRC quote but not the whole shebang, because I'd be on a NNCB policy with tne XR4.

Fed up with bashing my starter motor...

I would replace it ASAP, as clanging ot everytime may leave you in a very ****ty situation - had it with boat once, kept hitting it for weeks, until eventually the magnetic lining shattered and nothing would move inside ;)
