  • Hi Jarviea,

Send me on an email address if you want photos. I dug it out of the shed. There was something rattling around in it so I opened it up. The magnet is broken off the back of the speaker cone. I hooked up to my own RRC to check if I could fix it. It works but its no good, huge difference between it and my own one so it would def need a new speaker. Its a big bi-wired speaker, don't know how much it would be. The housing is fine and all the electronics are there. My one sounds great, makes a huge difference plugging it in and out so well worth your while doing it.

Incidently, while I was checking it I noticed that my own 95 RRC softdash sub does not have the clarion amp on top of the woofer, that you'll see in the spare one, so if you are getting one make sure you get the one suitable for your year. My head unit is the Diversity found on later P38's.

    HTH,

    Hi Jarviea,

I bought it off ebay several years ago and never got round to checking if it worked so honestly can't guarantee it. I'm a bit reluctant to sell it because of that. Also, I'm in Ireland and its bulky so shipping will be expensive. Not sure its worth the risk to you. If you want I'll dig it out, weigh it and take a few photos for you.
It might be worth taking a chance if your wiring is still in place. If the wiring was taken out, don't bother, I've got a loom too but that is what put me off fitting it to my RRC, waaay too much hassle.
