I'm looking for people's thoughts on these tyres as the Conti is quite new and I've not been able to find any reviews or the like. I do about 20,000 miles a year so I need something relatively well-mannered on the road but won't leave me floundering once I venture off it. I don't need it to deal with anything like deep mud so a 50/50 seems a tad excessive. I know the Michelin is well regarded, but it is now an 8 year old tyre which leaves me leaning towards the Continental.

The Michelin is sold as a 35/65 tyre and the Conti as 30/70 but that's just what the manufacturers say.

I had the latitude cross and couldn't fault them, well behaved on and Offroad, across fields and through muddy and rutted gates, nothing extreme, just extremely ****ty
