    Clutch Pedal Linkage Problem

By the way, if anyone has a Freelander Workshop manual (5th edition) it is diagram 33M0310 in the clutch repairs section that is the offending item, the cross shaped end of the rod I think allowing the highlighted bit to move along the rod?

    Clutch Pedal Linkage Problem

Has anyone had experience of repairing or replacing the clutch pedal, basically on my 2.0d Freelander the (plastic) linkage / push rod that ultimately presses the master cylinder has either worn or broke which means that when the weather is hot (for some reason) I have difficulty engaging gears...

    Freelander Starter Motor Fixings

Thanks for replying Dann, its not a TD4 so not sure how different it is to L-series diesel. Looking at the starter motor side on with the engine behind I can see the top bolt at roughly the 11'o'clock position. I'm thinking the second is in the 5'o'clock position? Anyone else know?

Does anyone know if (like the Haynes manual says) you have to drill out two screws in some mounting / assembly to remove the ignition switch?

    Unknown electrical problem?

After reading through various forums it looks like the ignition switch is a common problem - will try and strip / clean it up at the weekend and let you all know. By the way, could this have been the cause of the engine cutting out?

    Unknown electrical problem?

    Central Locking Problem
