I own a 110 TD5 DCPU as a daily drive but would like to have a CSW. As it happens i now have access to a complete body from a TDCi PUMA 110 CSW. I am interested in the Pro's and Con's of doing a complete body swap???

The loom under the wing was completely chaffed through. It caused a host if different intermittent faults especially when it was damp weather.
Most recently the fuel pump would power up when i stood on the wing to load the roof rack........
Also caused a number of other permanent live feeds...

 Thanks for the heads up - I was going down all sorts of rabbit holes last night WRT finding earths etc. A bit of logic might just be the tonic required.
This morning I reconnected the Battery and all seems OK which could either be an earth sorted or random luck.
I have a new stalk...

Apologies i may have confused the issues when i wrote that i had fitted a new pump - i was referring to a new in-tank fuel pump (££). Just glad ill not be forking out for a turbo - I couldn't find the diaphragm as a component item anywhere.

apologies for reviving an old thread BUT hopefully it may be of use to someone. My actuator rod diaphragm had a tine hole in the metal housing (possibly caused by contact with the heat shield).
I only identified it as i was doing some fettle action on the waste-gate actuator arm. I fitted a...

UPDATE - replaced fuel pump, fuel filter and x1 fuel line (Black one as snapped connector on removal).
Went through bleed cycle and fired up first go ;)
Test drive done and is now back to full fettle.
Had a few guys look at the old pump and filter - general thoughts are some sort of algae...

i was very surprised that the pump was u/s as the vehicle would run on tick over and drive at low revs. Even with the pump relay removed the vehicle would still start and run.
We have tested the pump and it has defo gone tits up.
Been a right drama getting hold of the fuel line...

Yeah the guys at work have stripped the pump and i have been shocked by the amount of black sludge covering the filter.
Also cut the fuel filter in half and that had collected some of the sludge and its only been on for about 1k miles.

Thanks - i wasnt aware of an in-line filter above the fuel filter - ill do a search. waiting on a new lift pump and a new fuel line connector (bratwurst fingers snapped one on removal).
