Came back to my landy today (raining heavy) to find my side lights and main beam on.
Vehicle started and drove home ok but the main beam remained on and the wipers would do there own thing......Assumed that there is an earth fault.
Spent last 4 hours cleaning connectors and earths BUT to no avail. The only way to get the main beam (flash) to extinguish is to disconnect the battery.
I cant see anything wrong with the switch but research on here indicates that this is a cause of some high beam failures. Is it worth changing?
I have given the loom down the L/H wing a good wiggle but no noticeable effect.
with all the fuses for the lights out the only light that remains on is the front left main beam.
As ever your collective expertise would be gratefully received. I'm downing some hob gobbling 'ruby ale' to drown my sorrows.
