right , here goes.

Driving home the other night in the rain , and my wipers stop working.
I can hear the motor going so i assumed the linkage had pop off a joint. I managed to get to the linkage and motor and found the nut had fell of the motor , so a simple fix i thought.
I replaced the nut and then found that the wipers go down first before going back up only part of the way and then rest halfway across the screen !
Ive currently spent hours and hours yesterday trying to reset where the arm fits the motor.
Am i missing something?
Due to access to the whole unit i can only fit the arm/motor unit together with the whole lot of the car, so as you can imagine, getting the arm in the right place is a pain in the a***
The wipers are now sitting at a 45 degree angle and its irratting me.
Any help or advise with this? i cant see any sign on the arm or motor to help with alignment.

cheers guys

remove wiper arms and fit in the right place, the difference between a fullt fastened nut and a loose one is quite alot when it comes to the wiper arms, its probably been nearly off for a long while

Ive tried without the wiper arms attached, and its still a balls ache lol. I aggree with the nut being loose for a while, But due to where its located i bet no one checks it that often .
Oh well.....another few hours trial and fitting then lol
Thanks for the reply
