No, that's on the L405 - the puddle lamps in the mirror housings only stay on briefly, longer if the door isn't opened. I can't remember exactly how long, I think it's around 10-12 seconds, the lamps in the bottom of the door card stays on much longer though.
If not what? if the lamp has failed or half the filament is floating around, then change it. If the lampholder is corroded, change that also.
