Hi,
So for some reason the pump doesn't work for the windscreen water jet. Removed the pump and tested it by direct wiring it directly to battery and nothing happens, no sound or anything. So I imagine its fooked.
So anyway, the parts catalog says part number DRC2713L however the ones for sale under that part number do not match what mine looks like. I've included a photo of what mine looks like.

Google search comes up with one that looks like this : WASHER PUMP WINDSCREEN DEFENDER, RNC952, DRC2713L - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

Also ones that say lrdirect sell are £40!! whereas pumps under a different number and look different are around a fiver. So is there an alternative pump that'll fit?
Thanks

Jasper

Might be a PO has changed the pump with a non original replacement. So long as the pump you get fits into the washer bottle, and the wiring connects ok, and can be plumbed onto the outlet it should work. Biggest problem is usually the wiring plug but yours looks like it has 2 separate wires / spade connections. Suitable replacement pump should be about £5, max £10.

The wiring isn't an issue it's just the connection to the water tank. I imagine I'll have to plug the old hole and make a new hole so a cheaper pump will work. I just wanted to check on here if anyone else had encountered the same problem and had another solution :).
Cheers
