Window Tint Removal

New to me Disco came with heavily tinted rear windows – so much so I can hardly see out the rear.
Any tips of how to easily remove the window film.

pull it all off will probably leave a resudue,get the paint thinners out should wash it off. If its realy tough you may need to use the flat edge of a stanley blade.

just watch how you go with the heated rear windscreen

Get a edge loose and use a heat gun and spray bottle with warm water and dish soap and work it slowly. finish with a mild solvent on a rag. Then wash with window washer

should kinda peel off, maybe warm it up with a hairdryer 1st then warm it as you pull it.

shouldn't be that hard, I've seen plod pull film off by the side of the road on tv

USe one of these, you can direct the steam to the place you wnt it, better then a hoty air gun as well. less chance of melting plastic near by

I used the steam cleaner & a hair dryer, off in minutes!

Here is the class we are tinted, you contrary. Really pick up a blade and can be deleted, but if the factory tint, and there swill-coating to fail.

Is "stop moaning" helpful? My windows are limo on limo on top of limo. Thats what wing mirrors are for.
