This is my first Land Rover and I have only owned it 2 weeks. I have had a winning noise like a pump running when at low speed. This noise goes when I turn left. Had a look under neath and found a broken link arm that goes to the leaf spring. Is it possible the noise will go when this is replaced? Any advice appreciated

Can you pinpoint where this whining noise is coming?

There is an air compressor which works the rear air suspension (assuming you have that?) under the front passenger seat on the chassis.

There is also the ACE (Advanced Cornering Enhancement) system valve block under the drivers seat which can make a buzzing noise.

Thanks for the pointers, there is no noise when stationary or doing 40+ the broken sensor is offside rear and goes when I corner left and the noise is behind the drivers seat.

The ACE valve block is on the chassis rail in about the "behind the drivers seat" position. They are mounted on rubber isolator type fittings as well as all the ACE pipework, if any of that it loose/touching the chassis then you might get some noise being transmitted in to the chassis from the ACE system. Hopefully that's all it turns out to be.
