Hi guys, I know this has been covered a lot and I have done plenty of searches first. I need to find a way of preventing my soft top 90 from going missing, caught them in the act a few times now I have done a few home made jobs so far and a couple of hidden switches will be done by next week but I'd like something thats big and obvious as a deterrent. I don't want a disklok as it's too bulky so I'm trying to decide between these 3 pedal locks:
Clutch Claw - Car Security Product
Everyone raves about the clutch claw but surely you can cut through the pedals above the device?
LAND ROVER DEFENDER SECURITY DEVICE PEDAL LOCK STEERING on eBay (end time 07-Nov-10 21:52:51 GMT)
This one seems pretty good and at a good price too, it prevents access from everywhere and as they say, it's the advanced form of the one Paddocks sell. However it doesn't totally lock the pedals, just lock to the brake and has no back plate.
Nene Overland 4x4 Land Rover Defender 90 new and used for sale
I have seen one of these in their shop and was impressed by how sturdy it was (it better be at that price) whilst i like the idea it covers all 3 pedals from all angles, it doesn't prevent all 3 from being pressed (can engage/disengage gears)
Any advice/experience is much apprecitated as always cheers, Harry
