wheelchair hoist TD4

Can anyone let me know if they have fitted a wheelchair hoist or have any specifications as to where the proper place for it to be fitted,
I bought it second hand and the guy told me it is just a mattter of bolting it to the floor and fitting the stabilising support arm and of course the electrics,
I would be gratefull for any info I can get.

If you are intending on doing this I would suggest you speak to insurance first- my dad owns a t4 vr6 which was professionally modified by recognized company and had hell of a job insuring it as a ramp and wheel chair points they class as modified

I phoned my insurance and you are right that I told them,
there was no change in the price of the policy but I was right to tell them and it does go down as a body modification.
