I have a 2011 Td4 gs but it has a SD4 engine ! every where I look says that the Td4 is 150 hp and the Sd4 is 190 hp, the air intake pipe is same as Sd4 different from Td4 and in V5 emissions are 185 as Td4 is 165, so I think the Td4 was made with both set ups, is there any one on here who can varify this for me please.

A TD4 is 150 BHP if it has a DPF, and 160 BHP without a DPF.
The engine is the same between the TD4 and SD4. The only difference is all SD4s have a DPF, a different turbo, and different mapping in the ECM.
The intake pipes are different on the earth engines which had swirl flaps, but later engines without swirl flaps got straight intake pipes. The design of the intake pipes make absolutely zero difference to the way the engine performs. The 4 chambers on the earth engines was to reduce intake noise when the swirl flaps were active, but I couldn't hear any difference between types.

Thank you for your reply Nodge, do you know of any way that will show if my engine was originally 150 or 190 bhp as there is no reason for me to bought the tuners last year when I was told my engine was definitely 190bhp even after I questioned this info. Regards Reg

If the engine is original, then the VIN will tell you. Post the VIN and I'll look it up for you.
The badge shows it as a TD4, so there's no reason to doubt that it'll have a TD4 power output.

VIN SALFA2ACOBH246894
Eng No DZ784015084224DT

I have included engine number as it may help.

Here's the build sheet spec. It definitely left the factory with 150 BHP engine. The engine number also looks like a 150 BHP unit.
