Whats this for?

Anyone tell me what this light means, can't see it in the manual, whilst sorting the failed sidelight telltale I discovered that the lampholder is wired but no lamp in the holder. Is this just a case of the loom being standard? I'm not even sure what it does - oil temp, transmission oil?

Sorry guys, just noticed picture failed to load, appears to be a problem dragging it off my phone, I'll post again when I manage to get it off!!

Hadn't even managed to get the screen to refresh whilst android and windows battled it out over a usb cable, sorry but pic is now attached to above post, thanks for looking.

transmission temp , it was only fitted for certain markets not uk

Gearbox temperature - not applicable unless yu have an auto

Cheers guys, so I can just ignore it (or even use it as a tell tail for something else)?

I assume the wiring hooked to the back is just part of a standard loom and goes no where at the other end then?

I aplogize for hijacking this thread but could anyone tell me whether the complete set of dash lights is available as a replacement part? Mine have faded and they look ghastly.

Define complete set of lights - you can buy relplacement bulbs?

Or do you mean the bit the bulbs go into - which you can also buy, generally second hand.

For the OP, I found the same and put a bulb in, it's connected to something as it comes on whilst cranking, but that's it....

I mean the bit that the bulbs go into. The plastic thingy with figures and stuff
