Whats The Best Disco And Why?

Hi, i know there is no real answer to this as different people will favour different discos depending on their own specific needs and preferences but id like to hear what different peoples opinions are on thier perfect disco and why? ie disco1/2/3 tdi/V8 raised,bullbars, standard etc. i got a V8 disco 1 runnin on lpg with all terrain tyres, its basically my birds run around and we both love it! ps i would love to raise it and take it propper off road (we live in north wales-mountain country) but the killjoy is worried i'd "scratch it" bloody women!

GS 5-seat has spring suspension (not airbags), but it also has ACE. That means you get good (!?) handling, but don't have the reliability issues with airbags. D1's are getting a bit old now...

no electrics, you can fix every thing yourself, boosted and pump tweeked, all problems are knowen and eliminated, and thay are still making them, so new motor parts are no problem. i have a 95 with 356 000 Klm thats 222 500 miles for the poms, the wife has a 2007 december, we got it in feb, but the question was what was the best, not what was the nicest

if you on a buget, what the best of both worlds, kids family camping shoping tdi 300 auto, is the way to go. ( i have a manual )
