What's in the boot?

I opened the little floor panel in the boot today, and noticed there is a box bolted to the panel that you can't get into... there is a wire/connector going to it too? What is it? Not the tool box, I took that out and gave it a good clean. I will post photos tomorrow if needed... dark and wet now.

Also... does anyone have the part numbers for the following parts please?

The 2 locks for the panel.
The 4 hoops (for clipping a luggage net too?) on the boot floor.


They seem to be pretty rusty, but the boot is dry so I assume it's had a leak before. Seems OK now though.

I don't know, I never have the radio on... new to Freelanders!

Could be, but I just googled 'Freelander Subwoofer' and the images are looking more like the panel/box I found..

Freelanders aren't the only cars to have a radio or a boot mounted subwoofer.
